Before you compare systems, answer one question
Is your restaurant inside a hotel? From there on, the decision is different.
What your current system does well
It probably takes orders fast, prints kitchen tickets, accepts several payment methods and closes a shift. That is what a POS is supposed to do, and if it does it well, it is a good tool. We are not going to pretend otherwise to sell you something.
When you should stay where you are
If your restaurant is a standalone location, with no rooms, no credit customers, a single cashier and hardware already bought and working: stay. Switching systems has a real cost in your team’s attention, and it is not worth it over differences of nuance.
When the switch pays for itself
- When there are rooms involved and room charge goes through paper or through an integration.
- When you invoice companies and someone separates by hand what the company pays from what the guest pays.
- When you have more than one revenue center and they share a single cash drawer.
- When you pay a fee to connect your POS to your hotel system.
- When month-end close takes an afternoon of reconciliation.
- When you cannot answer how much each occupied room spent in the restaurant.
What comes with you and what stays
Catalog, prices, categories, modifiers, credit customers and open balances are migrated. Your old sales history stays on your previous system for as long as you need it; we start clean and with correct balances, which is what matters for collecting.
What the switch looks like
Five calendar days, without closing the restaurant, with a live rehearsal on day four. The full detail is on the implementation page.

How much of my team’s time is needed?
About three hours from the manager and one rehearsal shift on the floor.
